WELLINGTON RUGBY UNION
The Management Committee of the Wellington Rugby Union met last evening,* Mr. D. D. Weir presiding. The St. James's Football Club was granted permission to use Athletic- Park two nights weekly for training, on the usual terms.
It was decided to hold the seven-a-side tournament on Saturday next, at Athletic Park. Arrangements were left in the hands of Messrs. Ward, Willard, and Bush.
An application by St. Patrick's College football team to use Athletic Park on Wednesday afternoon was granted. The competitions will commence on Saturday, 12th May.
The charge for admission to Athletic Park was fixed at 6d, and 6d extra to the grandstand.
