ST. MICHAEL'S KELBURN
• The Rev. H. Watson, M.A., Vicar of St. Michael and All Angels' Church, Kelburn, presided over the annual meeting- of parishioners held last evening./ Good progress was reported, both ill the number of services held during the year and in the attendances. The Ladies' Guild had doric good work for the Red Cross Funds, and by a sale of work £85 was paid off the church debt, thus leaving 3 balance of £160. The^ Snndav scholars,, by the aid of a sale of work, had contributed £51 towards the new church fund. The church was at present inadequate, and the need of a church worthy of Kolburn was urged on. tho parishioners. Towards this object, the main fund was largely augumented by a canvass of the district which resulted in the amount in hand being raised to £855. The .vicar addressed ihe meeting on the work necessary in this direction, and it was resolved to recommend the incoming vestry to organise v, canvass with the object of raising a further £500 for the new church building fund. The question of forming Kelburn into a separate parochial district was. after some discussion, referred to the incoming vestry for consideration. The vicar appointed Mr. 6. H. Stnrtevant to bo his warden. Mr. H. E. Evans was appointed the parishioners' ■warden, dnd the new vestry is composed of Messrs. H. S. Barnes, G. Bell, — Bray, H. G. Mayer, G. W. Morgan, V. T. *R. Johnson, W. E. Southwick, H. JI. Stephens, and V. B. Willis. Mi\ G. W. Janisch was appointed horn auditor.
