STRIKERS' DEMANDS
MEETING FAILS TO ADOPT THEM.

AMSTERDAM, 21st April. At. a meeting of Berlin strikers resolutions were submitted demanding from the Government a. declaration of its immediate readiness for peace on the basis of the renunciation of all annexations, abolition of the compulsory service law* liberation of political prisoners, complete political freedom, and universal secret franchise.
