AN INQUEST
An enquiry was held by Mr. W:- G. Riddell, S.M.,- yesterday concerning the death of Thomas Henry Kirby, a retired railway erigin-e^driver, who expired suddenly at his residence, 17, Thorndon-quay, on Sunday morning last. Evidence mas given that the deceased had suffered from shortness of breath and' pain rouiid tho heart and shoulders. ' Dr. Henry stated that the man died from natural causes, land expressed the opinion that the- actual cause of death was heart - failure. A verdict to that effect was Teturned.
