SUDDEN DEATH
A retired engine-driver named Thomas' Kirby, aged 64, died suddenly at his home,_ 17, Thorndon-quay, yesterday morning. Dr. Henry, who was called to attend the deceased, was unable to defi-,' nitely certify as to .the .cause of death, and an inquest is being held this afternoon. The deceased leaves a widow and family.
