A SYMPATHY VOTE.

CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. A big meeting of Labour supporters was held last night to' discuss the municipal elections, and the Labour outlook. Reference was made by Mr. Webb, M.P., and Mr. M'Combs, M.P., to the miners on the' Coast, and the meeting passed unanimously the following solution:—"That this meeting, of Chnstchurch citizens sends greetings to the miners and'offer homes to their wives and children if they send them over." It was stated that arrangements are in hand to house a thousand women and children if necessary. .'i
