HEAVY BRITISH LOSSES CLAIMED

LONDON, 14th April.

' A German wireless official report states': There was a pause in the fighting yesterday north-eastward of Arras and the Scarpe. Further southward, at i Croisilles and Bullecourt, after a violent artillery fire, the British vainly attacked several times.
