MINISTERS LEAVE FOR WEST COAST

CHRISTCHURCH, 13th April,
The Acting-Prime. Minister, the Hon. Sip James Allen, and the Hon. W. D. S. Mac Donald, left here to-day for the West Coast. , ' ' ■
Asked what his plans were, and whether he proposed to address meetings of miners, Sir James Allen stated that he was not in a position to answer the questions. However, he said that no definite plans had been prepared other than that they intended to leave no stone unturned •to help. the miners to reach a right state of mind and go back to work. Their course of action would be shaped on arrival. Possibly they would proceed to Westport early tomorrow morning.
