Harvest Handicap (saddle), of 150 soys; two miles.—Red Bell, 14sec, 1; Parkfield, llsec, 2; Wild Tree, scr., 8. All started. Won by a neck, third horse ten lengths away. Tame, smin 6 2-ssec. Metropolitan. Handicap (in harness), of 400 soys; two miles.—Author- Dillon, ssec, 1; Emilius, 9sec, 2; Adelaide Direct, 7sec, 3. Scratched: Admiral Wood, St. Kevin Moneymaker,^ and Oinako. Won by half a length, thrpe lengths between second and third. Time, •tain 38 4-ssec.
Acceptances for the first day's events at the Mariawatu Racing Club's Meeting, and final payments for the Maaawatu Sires' Produce Stakes, and the Manawatu Stakes, close on Monday next, at 9 p.m.;
