RETURNED SOLDIERS' ENTERTAINMENT

A novel entertainment in aid of a worthy cause is to be held under the auspices of the Wellington Returned Soldiers' Association in the Grand Opera House on Wednesday afternoon next. The Trentham Band will be present, an aEEractive programme will be provided, and afternoon tea will be available. 'A feature of the function will be the sale by aucHon of a large Union Jack autographed by returned soldiers (the majority of whom were present at the landing at Anzao) and sailor lads of His. Majesty's Navy. Already the flag contains 220 signatures. Miss Beatrice Hollo way will be the auctioneer.
