Nominations for the' Mayoralty, City Council, Harbour., Board (Wellington seats), and Hospital and Charitable Aid Board (combined district of Wellington city and Karori and Miramar boroughs) closed at noon" to-day with the Returning Officer, Mr. James Ames.
The Mayor (Mr. J. P. Luke) ha 3 beon oleeted unopposed. For the City Council there are 29 candidates for 15 vacancies," for the Harbour Board 6 candidates for' 4 vacancies, and for the Hospital BoaTd 26 candidates for 14 vacancies.
