NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW
The. fourteenth National Dairy Show will be held at Palmerston North on 20th, 21st, and 22nd June next. Those who intendr competing are reminded that it is now.time to be thinking of the preparations needful. The breeders' consignment . cattle, sale, inaugurated last year, will be heid again this year, and the Manawatu'-, Poultry Association's Champion Show is set down for the 20th 21st, and '22nd June. The prize schedule, which is now in course of preparation, includes butter, cheese, honey, fruit, and vegetable championships, field roots, farm produce, grain, seeds, deer heads, amateur photography, art, needlework, cookery, preserves, ring, and milktesting competitions. Arrangements have been completed for the annual test football matches between Wanganui and Te Ante (Native) Colleges, which will be played off on 20th June. The annual meetings and conferences of the National Dairy 'Association and" New Zealand Dairy Factory Managers will take place in the Lecture Hall.
General entries are due to close on 2nd June; cattle entries on 19th May ; and applications for space should be made at once. All information may be obtained from the secretary, Mr. W. T. Penny, Box 85, Palmerston North.
