STATEMENT' AT . SYDNEY LABOUR
COUNCIL.

During a debate on a. motion to adjourn ■the. Labour Council until after the, Federal elections, which was carried, the Rippingalo • .cqachhTakers- ~ delegate opposed tho motion, stating that an- undercurrent was working.in tho industrial It had sta-rted in New Zealand, and would get ■ here' shortly. From information re? ceived they "would be asked a momentous question", if not to-night, then next week, or later. It,would mean the bread-and-butter question for Australia. He could not say too much, but the Council should be in their places to answer the question when it arrived. ,
