GERMAN PROPAGANDA IN AMERICA
MAILS FLOODED WITH LETTERS

NEW YORK; 25th February. A thousand food rioters stormed the Waldorf and Astoria Hotels. ' Fifty people were trampled on and injured. German propagandists are flooding the mails with titter attacks on the American Government, and also denouncing the Entente. Similar letters have been sent to Congressmen. The authorities are endeavouring to trace their authorship. NEW YORK, 24th February.
The Providence Journal says ttiat high, officials have intercepted letters showing that spy plots which they are now investigating embraced a scheme o£ frightfulness, including the assassinatio.n of President Wilson.
