A number of .photographs taken on tho Gallipoli Peninsula during the campaign aro to be exhibited in Wellington next month. Major' F. Waite, D.5.0., N.Z.E., has consented to give a lecture, which will be illustrated by.means of the photographs. The lecture, which is under the auspices of the Wellington Returned Soldiers' Association, will bo given in the City Council. Chambers, Town Hall, on 9th March.

To-morrow, at the V.M.C.A., Willisstreet, the speaker at the men'a meeting at 4 p.m. will be Rev. E. T. Cox.

At the Vivian-street Baptist Church tomorrow ovemng, Rev. J. K. Archer will speak on tho subject: ."Tho Clergy and tho War."

Mr. S. George Nathan will sell by auction on Thursday and Friday next, at the residence of Miss Kane, 51, Boltonstreet, household furniture. On the following- Tuesday, in the Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Nathan will offer Mrs. Quick's residence, The Terrace, having a frontage of 139 ft; also Mr. David Nathan's lato residential site in Auroraterrace and a 6-rooraed cottage, 179, Karori-road, on account of Captain Holmes. _ At noon on 13th March Mr. Nathan is offering a freehold block on Lam'bton-quay known as the National Hotel, together with license, and on 15th March, under instructions from the executrix in the estate of the late B. F. Whitakcr, throe residential properties— a_ nine-roomed residence at the corner of Upland and Glasgow roads, Kelburn, and an aight and a flva roomed dwelling m Sydney-street.
