REVERSES
HINDENBURG'S CAPTURED ORDER.

LONDON, 22nd February.
Reuters correspondent at Headquarters has obtained ' a copy of a captured order by Yon Hindenburg. It states that the operations at Verdun, between October and December, resulted in serious and regettable . reverses. Incapable officers must be ruthlessly removed. The number of prisoners was unusually large for German troops. Some had evidently surrendered without offering serious resistance, and not suffering serious losses, which shows that the morale of some of the troops was low. The reasons must be carefully investigated. The old spirit of German influence must be revived by training and the strictest drill, .
