"LIKE BEING IN HELL."-

'REUTEK'S TELEGRAM.)

(Received February 23, 1 p.m.)

AMSTERDAM, 22nd February.

Many deported Belgians have returned owing to illness. Some have developed tuberculosis; and these were hitherto strong. They complain that they were nearly starved. They' had bread once a week and a mixture of vegetables, which were often rotten, each day. They describe their stay in Germany like being in hell.
