LODGE MEETING

The quarterly meeting of the Star of New Zealand Lodge, U.A.0.D., wae held last night at the Town Hall Buildings, Lower Hutt. There was a good attendance of members and past officers. Bro. W. K. Bishop, one of the founders of the lodge, attended by special invitaition, and was the recipient of a hearty welcome and vote of thanks. In acknowledging the compliment, the visitor, who was the first president for the North Island (then known as No. 18 Disfcriot, Grand Lodge | of Australia) gave Borne interesting incidents of his Druidicai career in Australia, and a wish was ex"pressed that he would > favour the lodge with another visit before leaving New Zealand. Other past officers present at the meeting were: Bros. Bert Collefct (A.D. of the Mungaroa Lodge), R. J. S. Cunliffe, P.D.P., Geo. F. Bates, P.D.P. (one of the pioneer members), and P.D.P. Bro. MnHiiis (Thoradon).
