DIVORCE PROCEEDINGS

A divorce suit in which Harry James Spargo, driver, Wellington, is the petitioner and Minnie Spargo the respondent, is being heard at the Supreme Court to-day, before his Honour' Mr. ■Justice Chapman and a common jury of twelve. Mr. H. F. O'Leary appears for petitioner and Mr. ;R. Kennedy for respondent. The statement by the former was to the effect .that the .parties were married some; years ago, and had one child. Of late years the couple had not lived together, and petitioner alleged that his wife had for some time past been guifty o£ misconduct , with one Thomas Walker. The jury brought in a verdict to the effect that there had •been adultery between respondent and co-respondent. His Honour granted a decree nisi, to bo made absolute in thre« months.
