N.S.W. ELECTIONS
BITTER FIGHT EXPECTED. ■
SYDNEY, 20th February. Mr. Holman's announcement of' tjie elections at such an early date came as a surprise to the P.L.L. section of the Labour Party, who, at the time of the formation of the National Ministry, strongly urged an appeal to the country. They now appear to be unhappy because their own. petard has been suddenly hoisted. Then came a, great rush to the electorates and hurried organisation. The fight between the old .and the new Labour Parties promises to be very bitter.
