RED CROSS SOCIETY
CHBISTCHURCH, 20th February. At a meeting held to-day, convened by the Governor, a ' constitution was adopted for the British Red Cross in, New^ Zealand, to be known as the NewZealand Branch, British Red Cross Society and Order of St. John, with headquarters at Wellington and centres of the branch in Auckland, .Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin.
Lieutenant-Colonel W. H. Sefton Moorhouse was elected officer-in-cliarge at headquarters, and Mrs. Luke and Mr. G. W. Shirtcliffe members of'the council. Other officers are to be elected by the branches in the four centres.
