FINED FOR BETTING ON A COURSE
(CI TELEGRAPH.—rKESS ASSOCIATION.) , AUCKLAND, 20th February. At the Police Court, William M'Leod, who on 25th January was fined £25 for street betting, was to-day fined £50, with £10 war tax, for betting on the Takapuna racecourse on 29th January.
