PATENT SLIP COMMISSION
The Commission, consisting of Mr. W. G. Riddell, S.M., and Mr. W. J. Boche (engineer -to the Lower ' Hutt.. Borough Council), which is enquiring ■ into matters connected with the proposed construction of a road round to the Patent Slip,, sat this morning at the Magistrate's Court. .The City Solicitor (Mr. JV O'Shea.) represented the City; Council, Mr: Myers tho Patent Slip Company, while Mr. C. H. Izard appeared for the Harbour Board-.
/It was announced that counsel had practically come to a completq agreement, but they desired to confer ivith their respective bodies before placing particulars before the Commission. The Commission accordingly adjourned till 28th instant. An extension of timo for furnishing the" report will probably be applied for.
