The proprietor of the above rapidly growing business, Mr. T. Newland, has reason _to feel very proud of the manner in which_ his trade has expanded sines commencing as a fruit and produce agent some two years ago. A visit to Newland's stores, at almost any hour of the day provides, an object-lesson ■ in-not only the results of his skilful organisation and business ability, but in tho progress which the town itself has made within tho time mentioned. .
