PARLIAMENTARY TOUR
ARRIVAL BACK AT AUCKLAND:
(BI TELEGRAPH.—SPECIAL TO THE POST )
AUCKLAND, 31st January.
The Parliamentary tour was completed! to-day by an interesting run from Helensville :to Auckland. The party arrived at the Town Hall at 5.40 p.m., and in the absence of the Mayor were accorded a civic reception by the Deputy-Mayor (Mr. A. J. Entrican).
In the evening the completion of the tour was celebrated by a banquet given by the North Auckland Executive and the Developments Board. The DeputyMayor presided over a largo attendance. Many speeches were made and many things ■ were said about the North, its needs and possibilities. The Visitors will be eatertained by, the Takapaaa Borough Council . to-' •aiorraw* .
