PARLIAMENTARY TOUR
WRONG IMPRESSION CORRECTED,
(BY TELEGRAPH.—SPECIAL TO THE POST.)
HELENSVILLE, 30th January. The Parliamentary, tour was continued to-day by the main body from Port Albert to Helensville, where' the members who came from Dargaville on Sunday rejoined the party. The tour will be concluded to-morrow, when Auckland will be reached.
Mi\ A. Harris, M.P., in a speech here this evening, said that the impression was current in some quarters that the Government was bearing the cost of the tour. This, he said, was incorrect, as the whole of the expense was being borne by the people of the North in order to make their requirements and resources better known.
