A BELLICOSE SOCIALIST
(Received December 20, 12.15 p.m.) AMSTERDAM, 19th December. Herr Schiedmann, leader of the German Socialist majority, writing in the Cologne Gazette, emphatically denies that he condemned the Belgian deportations. Referring to peace he says that if terms included depriving Germany of a single province she would immediately commence rearming to recapture it.
