SOLDIERS FAVOURED REFERENDUM PROPOSALS
MELBOURNE, 19th December.
In the House of Representatives, pressed by Mr. Cook for a statement on the soldiers' referendum. vote, Mr. Hughes said the men's vote, including that of the nurses, substantially favoured the Government proposals, but at the request of the Imperial authorities he declined to supply the figures.
