OTTAWA, 24th October. Sir R. Borden, Prime Minister of Canada, in a stirring appeal for another hundred thousand enlistments, says that the climax of the war is rapidly approaching. Canada's last hundred thousand may be the deciding factor. The manhood of Canada must answer the challenge if the nation is to have abiding peace iti the future. Hitherto the enlistments have been more rapid than the transportation, • but in the past few months they have greatly decreased.
