IMPERIAL GUARDS

OF OVERSEAS TROOPS,

AN INTERESTING PROPOSAL.

(AUSTnALIAN-NEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) LONDON, 24th October.

Sir Joseph Ward, in an interview, said that the idea had much to recommend it- As an imperialistic conception it would serve to focus people's minds upon the affairs of the Empire, and would be productive of good, if the Guards were formed without weakening the individuality of the various separate divisions from the Overseas Dominions.
