SERVIANS DELAYED BY BAD WEATHER.

CHECK WILL ASSIST THE ENEMY.

LONDON, 23rd October.

• Mr. Ward Price, at Salonika, reports : "Tito break in the weather came unfortunately. The Servians, after the capture of Brod and Veleselo, reached tlie crest of the hills a league from the Cherha, capturing the trenches on the mountain side, and finally snrroiih'ded an important redoubt. The rain came down in a. deluge, preventing further attacks. The delay is regretta.ble for many reasons. The Servians had begun to widen -the breach in the enemy's lines, but it is now difficult ito send up supplies. This has given the enemy, time to bring up reinforcements."
