EMPRESS THEATRE.

The wholly delightful photo-play, " Nedra,' dramatised from the book by George Barr M'Cutcheon, is nearing the end of its season at the- Erupress Theatre. The action of the play takes place in Now York, on board an ocean liner, and in a pretty island in the Southern Pacific, and embraces quite a number of charming scenic settings. Usually when a young couple elope with the intention of being married they achieve their object. In the story of " Nedra," the hero and heroine elope, but Fate steps •in and not only separates them, but causes all sorts of diversions and escapades to assail them, which eventually causes the young couple to find new partners. Magnificent music is supplied from the Austral Solo Orchestra.
