FULL COURT JUDGMENT.

This morning' the Pull Court deliver--4A reserved judgment in. the case in which J. 0. Bryant, of Napier, had originally appealed to the Supreme Court against the decision of the Magistrate at Napier, convicting him of a breach of section 195 of the Licensing Act, 1908. Bryant, a grocer, was found .by the Magistrate, to have committed the breach, by assisting Warren, Smith and Co. (holders of a wholesale license) >to sell liquor at a place where they were not, entitled to do so. The case' was removed from the Supreme Court, by order of Mr. Justice Edwards, to the Full Court for argument. Separate judgments were read by the Chief Justice (Sir Robert Stout), Mr. Justice Edwards, and Mr. Justice Chapman, while Mr. Justice Sim read the joint judgment of Mr. Justice Cooper and .himself. In each case the opinion was that the appeal'should be dismissed, and judgment was entered up accordingly, with £10 10s costs. Mr. C. P. Skerrett, K.C., with him Mr. W. C. Sproule, of Napier, appeared for the appellant, and the SolicitorGeneral (Mr. J. W. Salmond) for the Crown.
