Mrs. and Miss Timms were reaming to Masterton .from Dannevirke; the lights were bad, and' the car went off the road and capsized, into.a creek. „' Both occupants were pinned under the car. Mrs.'. Timms had her face down in the water, and was found to he dead. A .car containing Mr. D. D. Ryan and a doctor, was in front, and, not seeing the* lights, they went back, and managed to lift the car sufficiently to ease Miss Timms, and then got further help to lift her out. . liss Timms was not Eoriously injured. ;
