ANOTHER AIR RAID
' INDUSTRIAL CENTRES VISITED. NO IMPORTANT DAMAGE. The High Commissioner reports: -iLONDON, 26th Sept., 12.40 p.m. A British official report states that seven airships raided England last night in the south, east, north-east, and north Midlands, principally about the industrial centres. No damage was done to factories from a military standpoint. Some small houses were wrecked and some damaged. Twenty-nine deaths were caused. The airships were successfully driven off several of the industrial centres;. (AUSTRALIAN-NEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) LONDON, 26th September. Official.—Several airships crossed the eastern and north-eastern coasts between 10.30 p.m. and midnight. Bombs were dropped on several places in the northern and North-Midland counties. The airships aije now off the South Coast.:-
Field-Marshal Lord French reports that it is believed that six airships visited the .north-east and southern counties. There were some casualties and damage, but full reports have not yet been received.
