SITUATION AT BROKEN HILL NORMAL.
SYDNEY, 26th September. The police report that the situation at Broken Hill is now normal.
[At Broken Hill two men were fined for using abusive language al an anticonscription meeting. The crowd made a demonstration at the Courthouse, rushed the police station and bombarded it with stones. ®The police charged, using their batons, and dispersed the crowd. Later the Courthouse was attacked.]
