THE WHOLE OF CRETE IN REVOLT.

LONDON, 26th September. Mr. W. Jeffries, the Daily-Mail's correspondent at Athens, writes that the whole of Crete has risen in revolt. It is believed that -M. Venizelos is directing the revolution.

The Cretan Royal bodyguard has .been dismissed for refusing to attest their loyalty, and three battalions of infantry are guarding the palace.
