CROWN THEATRE.

The thrilling drama " At Bay " is being shown tor the lirst time at the Crown Theatre to-day, and there is also a strong supporting programme. The management announces that " The Plunderer," the first Fox film to be screened on 2nd Uctober, will introduce to New Zealanders a fresh and manly picture hero, 'William Farnum, who in this great production of 500 scenes, is big Bill Matthews, of the Croix dOr Mine—a dougthy, splendid, steel-knit fellow, with a big, warm heart, and a good punch when needed. Later, the Crown Theatre patrons will renew acquaintance with popular Nance O'Neil, who will be shown in a five-reel romance, entitled "Princess Romanoff," better know here as " Fedora."
