The Conciliation Council to-day, in the case of the farriers' award, agreed to an increase of a halfpenny per hour for floor men. The agreement is the same as that' made at Auckland in March, and the Commissioner suggested that as the Dunedin application would be heard soon, a Dominion award should be sought.
