MELBOURNE, 25th September. The rain continues, and there are no indications of a change. The gauge has" registered '546 points 'since' Thursday, and the-Yarrais still rising. Many river craft have been sunk.
The Flemington racecourse is flooded, and it is feared that the water has greatly damaged the tracks.
