SALONIKA, 25th September

A British -.official message, states: On, the Struma front, the river has been crossed, in three places, and Je'mman, which the enemy se^ on fire, has been occupied. We met with strong opposition when attacking Karadzkovlala, and a- counter-attack by the enemy was entirely dispersed. Our naval and field artillery successfully bombarded the trenches. There is great patrol activity on the Doiran front. The weather is misty .and unfavourable.
