Mr. *W. Kerr, S.M., who has been transferred to Masterton, was bidden farewell by members of the Bar, the police, and Justices of the Peace this morning. Eulogistic references to _ his work on the Bench and to his high character were made by Mr. Marshall (Crown Prosecutor), on behalf of the Bar, Inspector Wilson (police), and Mr. Mackay (for the Justices).
