"THE CIRCUS OF DEATH.'
The Empress Theatre was taxed to its full capacity at every session on the occasion, of the second screening of the remarkable picture, "The Circus of Death." It is rarely that a picture is shown here with so many thrilling feats of daring, so many scenes of brilliance, and so many gorgeous settings, combined with a highly dramatic story. The allegorical pantomime' is one "of the greatest stage creations ever invented, and shows what Continental pantomimes really are; it is an education for old and young to witness such a spectacle. Madame Evelyn, who, plays the leading pjrl, is not only a consummate actr^s, but a marvellous acrob-u, and her a.'.ti are astonishing in the vxtreme. The management states, in answer to tne numerous enquiries, that the forward booking of "The Circus of Death"' makes it impossible jot the picture t; be. shown in Wellington after Friday night.
