OLD BOYS' CLUB
The 20th annual report of Wellington College.Old Boys* Cricket Club congratulates members on the satisfactory financial position of the club, due principally to the generosity of supporters.' The playing record was as good as could be expected under the circumstances, and good promise *- was shown by several of the senior eleven colts. The senior eleven played ten ■matches and secured five wins. The **"
junior and the third elevens made a promising start, but both teams had to be withdrawn before the clo6e of the season owing to unavoidable circumstances* Thanks are extended, to Mr. *K. H.> Tucker for his excellent services as coach, and to Mr. Win. Martin for his work as scorer te the first eleven. The committee announces that several of the; colts intend to enlist shortly, and it is to be hoped members , and supporters will endeavour to introduce new players, thereby enabling the "club to place at least two teams in the field.
