THREE LINES OF DEFENCE
(PUBLISHED IN THE TIMES.)
LONDON 23rd September. Mr. Ward Price reports that there are three main lines of strong defences at Monastir, and the Allies are attacking the first. The second, and stronger, runs to the other side of the former Greek frontier, from Kladoshnitza Kromian to Starkoogrob.
