ELSEWHERE ON THE FRONT
BIG FRENCH AIR-RAID,
PARIS, 24th September.
A French communique says: An enemy attack southward of Col. Sainte Marie, in the Vosges, was repulsed.
Airmen bombed the military establishments in the Ludwigshaven Palatinate and a big factory at- Mannheim. There was a vast fire, and several ex plosions\ were observed.
