"THE BIRTH OF A NATION."

D. W. Griffith's wonderful picture, "The Birth of a Nation," continues to attract large crowds to the Town Hall nightly. This is only natural :in the case of a production that has attained world-wide fame—an achievement which is in every way merited. The vastnes's of everything connected with the story, and , the striking realism attained in the telling, in many cases leave a desire to see the picture a second time. "The Birth of a Nation", deals with what was probably the'most critical period in the history of the United State's—the Civil War and its aftermath—and. shows the causes which led up to the formation of the Ku Klux Klan and similar organisations • for. the suppression of the license indulged in by the newly-enfran-chised negroes. "The Birth of a Nation" season will end after four more" screenings.
