QUARTER OF TRANSYLVANIA
ABANDONED BY AUSTRIANS.
(Received September 2, 2.10 p.m.) PARIS, Ist September. It is reported that the Austrians have evacuated nearly a quarter of Transylvania. The Rumanians to the northward have reached Gyergyo, which is the terminus of all the railways in the district, and the Rumanians are cutting the lines.
