BRITISH CASUALTIES
HEAVY TOTALS FOR AUGUST.
(AUSTRALIAN-NEW ZEALAND CABLB ASSOCIATION.) (Received September 2, 8.20 a.m.) LONDON, Ist September. The Daily Telegraph states that the casualty lists published during August total 4693 officers and 123,097 men, of which 1,156 officers and 19,520 men were killed. * The casualty lists published in June totalled 31,501, and in July 59,071.
