The following information regarding the number of patients under' treatment at Wellington Hospital (including all, branches and the Home for the Aged and Xeedy) was 'contained in a- return." presented to the Hospital Board yester-i day:—ln on 30th June, 1916* 366;' ad* mitted during July, 386; died, 35; dis-; charged, 360; remaining 51st July, 35?.'' Daily average: April 392, May 380,' June' 367, July 370, Daily average for seven years ended 31st March, 1916: 223, 248,258, 295. 295, 308, and 352 respectively.
At Otaki Hospital during July 14 patients were admitted, 11 discharged, 2 died, under treatment 7 males and 4 females. At Otoki Sanatorium 2 patients were admitted, 5 discharged, under treatment 12 males and 7 females.
